How do I change my APN settings?

APN stands for Access Point Name. It tells your device how to connect to the internet. Some Zapme eSIMs require you to manually update your APN settings in order to access data.

If your Zapme eSIM does not connect to mobile data automatically:

  1. Open your device’s Settings.

  2. Select Mobile Network, Cellular, Mobile Service, or Connections.

  3. Choose your Zapme eSIM.

  4. Find Access Point Names, APN, or Mobile Data Network. You can also search Settings for “APN.”

  5. Enter:
    APN: bicsapn
    Name:
bicsapn (only if this field is available)
  1. Do not change any other fields unless Zapme Support advises you to.

  2. Save the settings and select the new APN if your device asks you to.

  3. Ensure the Zapme eSIM is selected for Mobile Data and Data Roaming is enabled.
If it does not connect:

  • Turn Airplane Mode on and off.
  • Restart the device.
  • Temporarily disable Wi-Fi to test mobile data.
  • Confirm that the Zapme eSIM and data plan are active.

Menu names and APN-editing availability vary by device, manufacturer, operating-system version, and carrier. On some Apple devices, the APN menu may not be displayed.
